What better place to seal a love story that began in Kansas City than at an iconic Kansas City theater! And this was just one of many thoughtful details Larissa and Jamie incorporated into their big day.
Larissa shares:
"We wanted an intimate and timeless yet unique wedding full of family and friends. I carried a 'something old' from both my abuela in Puerto Rico and from Jamie's Grandma Betty. The garter – 'something blue' – was an homage to Jamie's alma mater, KU. And Grandma Betty and my Uncle Oscar (who gave away my mom at her wedding) performed the handfasting portion of our ceremony, symbolizing the joining of our two families." wedding dresses for older brides
